Communities

God calls us to live the Christian life not alone but in community. Seeking to encourage each other in the faith, each person is placed into one of 12 intergenerational geographically-defined Communities. This is the main way in which we carry out our ministry. For further information please see Communities.

Coffee Break

Coffee Break is an interdenominational Bible study for women of all ages and all stages of faith. There is both an evening and a daytime small group option. The evening group meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m., starting the end of September. The daytime group meets on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m., with childcare being offered, also starting the end of September.

The study choices are currently being decided for the upcoming Fall session. We will update the website when the decision has been finalized.

Last years studies include: "Luke: Good News of Great Joy" by Lydia Brownback, “Nehemiah: Rebuilding a Life" by Global Coffee Break Ministries, "Find Your People: Building Deep Community in a Lonely World by Jennie Allen" and "Elijah and Elisha: Prophets with Power by Discover Your Bible".

For more information please email us.

Deepening Faith Clusters

For those who are new to CCRC, who are thinking about making profession of faith, wish to join our congregation, or just want a space in which to explore their faith, we have a small group for you! Each Deepening Faith Cluster is made up of 4-6 people, led by a pastor, and meets 5-6 times at a time and place that works best for the group. We focus our discussions by asking four central questions: What does it mean to be Christian? What does it mean to be Reformed? What does it mean to be Christian Reformed? What does it mean to belong to Community CRC? Wanna join a cluster? Contact Pastor Amanda.

Life After Fifty-Five (L.A.F.F.)

L.A.F.F. is a program for people fifty-five and over, which meets every other week on Tuesday mornings from October to May. Bible study, fellowship, guest speakers, and a light lunch make up most of the meetings.
