Communities

We believe we grow best in our relationship with God, each other, and our community when we practice our faith locally. We place all of our members and participants in a geographically-based mini-congregation. Learn more about Communities!

Bible Study Groups

Community CRC offers various small group Bible Studies during the months of October/November, January/February, and April/May. The studies are based on the scriptures used in the Sunday sermons during those months, and the material is written by our pastors.

Life After Fifty-Five (L.A.F.F.)

L.A.F.F. is a program for people fifty-five and over, which meets every other week on Tuesday mornings from September to May. Bible study, fellowship, guest speakers, and a light lunch make up most of the meetings.

Knifty Knitters

Knifty Knitters get together every other Thursday morning to enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea with a nice treat and some good conversation and lots of laughs. We welcome anyone that would like to knit or crochet with us, and if you would like to learn to knit or crochet, we would be happy to teach you.

The blankets and sweaters we create are sent to Faith's Orphans Fund in Zambia.

Pickleball

The Community CRC Pickleball Program provides an opportunity for members of CCRC and the greater community to grow in relationship with each other while getting exercise through the game of Pickleball. In a time when 34% of Canadian poll respondents, particularly younger individuals, report feeling very lonely, our Pickleball program provides an opportunity for people to find wellness through exercise and social connections and thereby enhance thriving in our community.

The cost is $3 per evening. Beginners and advanced players are welcome. Check the upcoming events and join us for a Thursday night game of Pickleball!
