Fully Alive: The Seven Deadly Sins

St. Augustine once said that sing is "humanity turned inward on itself." We were designed for relationship – with God and each other – but sin turns us inward, away from others, looking only to our own interests. But it's this very inward turn that leads us away from flourishing and into a shadow version of life. The Seven Deadly Sins are named as such because they not only cause harm to others, but lead us towards death and darkness. During this Lenten season, we will look at the Seven Deadly Sins and how, in each case, we might open ourselves up once more towards God and others, and so become fully alive.
