We believe we grow best in our relationship with God, each other, and our community when we practice our faith locally.
Community CRC is a church made up of twelve Communities, which are made up of members and attenders in various regions in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.
We place all of our members and participants in a Community, a geographically-based mini-congregation. An elder and a deacon based in each community provide physical and spiritual care in the same neighbourhoods in which they live.
We connect with each other, get to know each other, and develop a sense of belonging. We organize potlucks, walks, welcome parties, games nights, backyard fires, movie nights, and many more creative activities each Community dreams up.
We care for each other. We pray for each other, encourage each other, visit each other, cook meals for each other, and show the kindness of Christ to each other.
We meet for Bible studies for an agreed-upon time to grow deeper in our understanding of God’s Word.
We learn how to follow in the servant way of Jesus by serving our neighbours and help address needs in our city.
